SUMMARY:iCET at the Earth Summit 2025
DESCRIPTION:Empowering Innovation for a Sustainable Future \nWe were honored to collaborate with Earth Summit 2025\, organized by Planet Protectors LK\, where technology and environmental responsibility came together to spark real change. \nRepresenting iCET\, Dr. Niroth Samarawickrama and Mr. Dewmal Handapangoda brought forward thought-provoking insights while SYIGEN showcased their innovative SAFE APP– a crowdsourcing platform tackling the human-elephant conflict in Sri Lanka. \nOur Software Engineering trainees actively contributed to this effort\, gaining real-world exposure and practical learning. Additionally\, iCET introduced AGRO APP\, a student-built solution aimed at transforming Sri Lanka’s agricultural landscape through technology. \nWe’re proud to have taken part in this meaningful initiative\, reinforcing our commitment to using tech for social and environmental good.
