What is the iCM Software Development Course?
The iCM (iCET Certified Master) is a software development course for university students in Sri Lanka, built to run alongside a degree rather than replace one. It’s also open to school leavers, non-IT professionals, and aspiring software engineers who want practical, job-ready skills.
Through a hands-on curriculum, the course takes students from programming fundamentals through to modern software development practices, supported by project-based learning, real-world assignments, and exposure to current industry technologies.

The total course fee is LKR 125,000. A one-time payment option brings this down to LKR 90,000 with the current special offer, or you can choose a 2- or 3-installment payment plan.
Can university students join iCM alongside their degree?
Yes. iCM is specifically designed so currently enrolled university students can build practical software development skills alongside their degree, through flexible online, physical, or hybrid classes.
Is iCM delivered online or in person?
Both. iCM is available online, physically at iCET's Panadura campus, or in a hybrid format, so university students and other learners can choose what fits their schedule.
What technologies will I learn in iCM?
Across the three levels, students work with Java, MySQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, Figma, Spring Boot, Angular, Git, GitHub, and IntelliJ IDEA, alongside core computer science topics like data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
